Home... home on the range

I moved and I survived. I am not sure how but I did.

We left a two story house that we had lived in for 15 years and moved into a one story house. We have been here for nearly two months now and are still settling in. This house is bigger than my old house but since we are all on the same level it seems... odd... Not crowded but odd. Before, if you wanted to be alone, you could go upstairs and be alone. Here you can just - well - walk into another room and shut the door. Somehow it seems less dramatic.

I have been working on a few pieces but haven't had the chance to finish anything. I make no promises but it's super nice to get notes from people extending their well wishes and wondering when I will be posting again. All I can say is...

Bits of bones and dust cover our floors. Volumes of well worn vampire lore are tucked amongst the specimen jars. A crooked clown mask is half hidden behind the door that leads to nowhere. We are magic and we thrive in the dark. We are not the circus but the sideshow and within us lies a collection of the fantastical. Come join the madness.
